Husband found this place and have to say the egg breakfast banquette was delicious and bacon and sausage baguette my husband had said was delicious and filling. We also had a hot chocolate and Americano which was delicious. Great friendly staff and very polite will be returning.

Busy greasy spoon. Ordered a big breakfast and a cup of tea - see picture. Everything was really nice except the sausages which were just OK.

**Explanation of the Name:** The name "Rosy Lea Cafe" is a charming example of Cockney rhyming slang, a playful and distinctive dialect originating from East London. In Cockney rhyming slang, "rosy lea" rhymes with "tea," making it a clever and whimsical way to refer to this beloved British beverage. Thus, "Rosy Lea Cafe" essentially means "Tea Cafe." The name reflects the cafe's emphasis on traditional English tea, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for tea enthusiasts. I recently visited the Rosy Lea Cafe and had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was charming, capturing the essence of a traditional English tea room. The tea selection was impressive, and the quality was top-notch. I particularly enjoyed their homemade scones and pastries, which were delicious and freshly baked. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it’s a delightful spot for anyone looking to enjoy a classic afternoon tea. Highly recommended!
